City seem to have gone through their allotted annual poor form and are setting the Premier League pace, enjoying a 10 point lead over the reigning champions and a five point advantage over their neighbours in second place. With a game in hand over both. Meanwhile, Spurs – whose cock crowed rather loudly during a brief ascent to the summit – show no signs of halting their slide down the table and look to remain on course for a mid-table finish. Which will please their fans greatly. Home win.
BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs ASTON VILLA (2000)
With games in hand, a top five/six finish is still well withing Villa’s grasp. Seagulls are flying higher than most people probably imagined at the start of the season and they should end the year comfortably above the drop zone if they can keep accumulating points. Draw.

SOUTHAMPTON vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1200)

One of the English top flight’s classic games. At least, it used to be. Today’s sides may be pale imitations of their 1970s’ equivalents, but that arguably makes for an interesting battle between high energy and considered strategy. Should be a good watch. Home win.
EVERTON vs FULHAM (1900)
Fulham look doomed, but they’ve become hard to beat as we recently discovered. Everton have games in hand on the teams above them and a win today will propel them above us into fifth spot. Home win.

WEST HAM UNITED vs SHEFFIELD UNITED (1800)
It takes a mighty optimist believe that the Blades are now playing for anything other than pride. To be fair, they can indeed be proud of some recent performances – not least a narrow defeat to Chelsea last time out – after a horrific start to the season that virtually sent them down. So they won’t be easy opponents. We’ll have to be at our sharpest, or close to it, to bag the points. Which we will be. Home win.
CHELSEA vs NEWCASTLE UNITED (2000)
The start to Thomas Tuchel’s reign at Stamford Bridge has been quietly effective. No massive wins, just a steady accumulation of points that’s seen them climb back up the table. If it wasn’t for the sheer uselessness of the bottom three, the Barcodes would be in danger. Should be routine for Chelsea. Home win.

I've known Martin Tyler for some time; decent bloke, excellent commentator. He talks about the value a 'summariser' adds, to fill in his gaps due to lack of playing experience.
How does a woman with no PL experience fill in gaps?

I'm not sure where you looked but according to Wikki her career spanned 12 years, ending in 2009, and she scored over 200 goals.

Played 100 times for Leeds 20 years ago, partner of Neil Redfearn.

Watched M'bappe last night & Haaland tonight, two fantastic young strikers
Pleasure to watch strikers playing with pace & skill ... no diving, no playacting for pens and no trying to injure defenders by tunnelling under them when they are jumping for the ball.
